Alla Prima Oil Painting

During this 6-week Oil Painting course, students will explore the art of painting the portrait from life. The class will focus on creating a portrait from the early stages of setup to the finishing strokes to paint the head in a convincing, representational manner. We will be working from both live models and photos while learning the various techniques of handling oil paint in order to create a finished piece. Students can expect instructor demonstration and plenty of individual attention.
