Come join The Bmore Creatives and learn a bit about Indigoferas tinctoria from Wax and Wane Fiber in their new luxurious warehouse space! We will start off the workshop by explaining the history and chemistry of the dye and will demonstrate shibori techniques to use on your cloth.

Snacks by Kinderhook Snacks and tea beverages by Wight Tea Co will be provided. You can eat, drink, dye, and socialize all you like!

We will provide small sample fabrics of cotton and silk for every person, but to keep ticket costs low we ask that you provide your own larger fabrics to dye with. Bring clothing, pillow cases, scarves, silk, cotton, linens etc. We will provide two different indigo vats and shibori tools to beautify your fabric.

We suggest if you plan to order silk or cotton items you check out Dharma Trading Company, as they have gorgeous, ready to dye fabric that is inexpensive and easy to order.
