Celebrating Baltimore Day
Let's Celebrate! On August 8, 1729 Gov. Benedict Leonard Calvert signed a Maryland colonial assembly bill into law authorizing the "act of erecting a town on the north side of the Patapsco" we know as Baltimore City today. The Baltimore National Heritage Area invites visitors and residents to learn more about the Great American City of Baltimore. The flagship ranger led tour, HERITAGE WALK will be FREE of charge on August 8. Tour time is 10:00 am, originating from the Baltimore Visitor Center.
