Inspired by the 25th anniversary of our Family Concert, HSO will perform Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, featuring a bilingual script and narration by actor/director Carlos Espinal in Spanish, alongside Baltimore’s beloved Jonathan Palevsky for the English narration. Continuing our celebration of friendship for our March concert, HSO is commissioning a work by one of Maestro Gaylin's closest and long-standing friends and colleagues — composer Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez. The program concludes with one of the greatest homages to friendship ever penned: Elgar’s Enigma Variations.
Followed by our 25th Annual Free Family Concert on Sunday March 5 at 3pm.
