The Keigo Hirakawa Trio is a hard hitting, hard swinging, jazz piano trio that reach the highest level of improvisational artistry. Acclaimed jazz pianist Stephen Scott describes Hirakawa’s playing as "full of inventiveness and a sense of adventure, creativeness and voracious angularity, aggressiveness, and jaggedness, passion and swing." The Trio recently released a straight-ahead piano trio CD named "And Then There Were Three." It is a longstanding collaboration between Keigo Hirakawa (piano),Eddie Brookshire (bass) and Fenton Sparks (drums). The album enjoys airplay on over 100 jazz radio stations around the country.
