Famous October is Sarah Bowman (of THE BOWMANS) and Reme Coal Burrell. They are an intimate singer/songwriter duo combining vocal harmonies with cello and guitar in a way which gives breath to a new acoustically driven, yet hauntingly bold sound. There are sounds of americana and modern folk music with underlying classical arrangements. Very beautiful and unique.

Based in Switzerland but having played for years in the states, Sarah was part of The Bowmans who released four albums and toured the United States and Europe many times playing more than 1,000 concerts. Rene Coal Burrell gained immediate success at the age of 16 and was invited to open for Neil Young, ZZ Top, and Amy Winehouse.

Famous October’s new album, One Day Baby, produced by Todd Sickafoose will be released this summer. The album features Allison Miller (Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls), Todd Sickafoose (Ani DiFranco, Anais Mitchell), Matthias Kunzli (Regina Spektor, Moby), Jenny Scheinman (Lucinda Williams, Bill Frisell), and Kyle Sanna (Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile).
