Vocalist, Renée Collins Georges returns to Germano's to perform custom arrangements of her favorite standards and other popular tunes. As, one of the last Raelettes to sing and tour with the legendary Ray Charles, she is quietly emerging as a lead vocalist; Having recently performed both in a group setting and as a soloist, at the Rose Theater, NYC in a tribute show to the genius of Soul called, "The Ray Charles Songbook. She returns with a section of outstanding players, she calls the Georjazz Quartet (GQ): Baltimore’s own, Justin Taylor (piano), from DC: Steve Novosel (bass) and Howard (KingPhish) Franklin (drums). Her husband, DuPor Georges (trombone) will sit in and solo on a few chosen tunes.
