Summer Drawing Classes at School 33 Art Center

Summer drawing classes return to School 33 Art Center! School 33 Art Center offers two sessions of six-week introductory drawing workshops throughout the summer. Session One: Saturday, June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 2 and 9 from 11:30am to 1:30pm and Session Two: Saturday July 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 12:30pm to 3pm. Classes are for adults ages 18 and up, all skill levels welcome. The classes cover the fundamentals, from contour drawing to shading and perspective. A $180 registration fee is required for the first session and a $200 registration fee for the second session. Students should bring their own materials from a list provided upon registration. School 33 Art Center is managed by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and is located at 1427 Light Street.

A visual artist for more than two decades, Ismael Carrillo’s artwork appears in publications worldwide. He teaches within the Illustration Department of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and the Fine Arts Department of the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Carrillo currently resides in Washington, D.C.
