It’s been 40 years since the Maryland Science Center opened its doors at the Inner Harbor. Join us for a birthday celebration where we’ll roll back admission pricing to what it was 40 years ago‒$2.50 for adults and $1.00 for children, ages 3-12. Children under 3 are free.

Local band Rocknocerus will kick off the day with a concert at Noon and both Poe and the Oriole Bird will be here for the show. Plus, have a slice of free birthday cake, play life-size games that were popular in the 1970s (think Operation and KerPlunk), and engage in related experiments and activities that celebrate our 40 years.

All activities are free with paid admission.
