Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys
Another authentic, down-home zydeco dance party at The Patterson. Jeffery Broussard is a share cropper’s son from Opelousas, Louisiana where his family has been playing the zydeco for generations. An accomplished vocalist who sings in French, Jeffery’s accordion playing is renowned, and he’s performed in such places as Russia, South America, and Europe. Broussard began playing the drums at age eight, mastering the accordion in his teens and starting his own band before he was twenty, and he continues to showcase this amazingly fun, charismatic, danceable music. With his full band, The Creole Cowboys, he brings a great dance evening in the fais do- do tradition of the Big Easy to Baltimore. A free dance lesson will get you started! The bar is open! Big dance floor. First come first seated on the risers. 8pm Lesson 9pm Dance $20, $17 mbrs.
